The Aleph Society
The Aleph Society exists to support the work of Rabbi Adin Steinsaltz around the globe, and his mission to make the Talmud and other sources of Jewish knowledge accessible to all Jews. The centrality of textual learning and spiritual growth infuses all of the programs under the Rabbi’s aegis.
The Aleph Society was founded in 1988 to support Rabbi Adin Steinsaltz’s worldwide network of institutions, educational programs, and publishing projects. Its mission is the development of Jews, Jewish identity, and Jewish communities.
The Aleph Society coordinates the local publication and distribution of Rabbi Steinsaltz’s books and articles, sponsors speaking tours and classes by the Rabbi, and oversees fundraising efforts. The Aleph Society’s annual Global Day of Jewish Learning is a worldwide event bringing Jews from all walks of life together around the Jewish foundational texts.
