MATI, Jerusalem Business Development Center, was established in 1991 as a non-profit organization (Amuta) aimed at strengthening and developing the Jerusalem economy
MATI provides assistance in opening new businesses and expanding the existing ones in all fields: Industry and crafts, trade, hi-tech, services and tourism.
Since its establishment, MATI has assisted over 43,287 entrepreneurs, 11,093 of which opened or expanded businesses. MATI activities resulted in the creation of about 32,422 new jobs in Jerusalem. Entrepreneurs received loans in the amount of NIS216 million through MATI for opening and expanding small and medium businesses. They attended hundreds of courses and workshops in business management.
MATI offers its services at a discount, thanks to the assistance of several public funds and organizations.
MATI policy is determined by MATI Board whose members are all volunteers.
